We are also joined by Gordon Clarke, strategic solution manager, of FamilySearch International, the world's largest genealogy organization. FamilySearch International is the largest genealogy organization in the world. FamilySearch is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Gordon and Rick discuss the formation and goals of the just-announced Family History Metadata Working Group.

The FHMWG is a collaboration between public organizations and private companies including founding members from FamilySearch, MemoryWeb, Vivid-Pix, the Family History Information Standards Organisation and The Permanent Legacy Foundation.
